Vacuum valve type V

The VARIVENT^® Vacuum valve type V makes tanks safe when under pressure builds up. 

Structure: Valve for securing tanks against vacuum pressure

 

Opening charateristics: From 2-3 mbar the valve "swims" open, emerges well-balanced under pressure. From 5 mbar the full lift is reached. The valve is immediately closed by overpressure

Additional information:

 

• The required performance of the vacuum valve will be interpreted with GEA Tuchenhagens standard measurements of the outflow performance.
• DN 162 (6" IPS) reacts later (larger weight).
• The flawless function is possible if the sealing surface of the disk and seat are intact and if the seats (green) coating is not damaged.
• A damaged seat ring and silicon seal can be changed by GEA Tuchenhagen, seeing as a complete swap over is needed.
• Only the proximity switch can be adjusted (option), for which some adjustment instructions are provided. The response mode of the valve disk is not adjustable.
